Zahid Dewji is a regular in the bubbling Houston comedy scene. He opened for Duncan Trusell earlier this year at the Come and Take It Comedy Takeover and is scheduled to perform at Hell Yes Comedy Festival in New Orleans in October and the Houston Whatever Fest at the end of November. This might be the fourth time I… I mean he has written a bio this year.
Trey Henderson is a lifelong resident of the Houston area. He has been doing comedy for about 2 years, performing at various local stages, including the House of Blues and opening for a Whiskey Brother’s Christmas special. His dark, twisted view of the world clashes with his family-man real life in hilarious fashion during each set, keeping the audience wondering, “What will he say next?”
In 2011 Scotty Peterson found a girl in a bathroom during college that had overdosed on heroin. When he got the paramedics on the phone they asked, “Can you give her mouth to mouth?” He then gazed upon her cold lifeless body hanging over the toilet and thought, “no way has she already gone, but if she was hotter then maybe I would.” It was at that hilarious moment he decided to pursue becoming a standup comedian. Since then he’s dropped out of chemical engineering school, quit his job, developed a slight cocaine/molly/weed/Viagra habit and has acquired more STDs then a toilet seat at Treasures. He’s made over $227 bucks as a working comedian in the last four years, so I guess you can say he’s pretty fucking funny.
Born and raised in South Texas Ryan Thauburn has been entertaining audiences with his unique brand of comedy for the better part of a decade now. His jokes range from growing up a nerd in South Texas to the absurdity of his past relationships. For the last eleven years he has had the pleasure of working clubs and colleges all over the country and featured for the likes of Craig Robinson, Doug Benson and Tony Rock. Having placed in the Houston’s Funniest Person Contest, been a finalist in the Funniest Person in South Texas and made an appearance of this season of Last Comic Standing this tall drink of Texan funny is a show you can’t afford to miss.
Victor Tran is the youngest comic in the finals and was also the last one to pay his entry fee. He needs the money and did not write this himself.
